TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: MO license or compact required. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required. Must-Have: - Previous experience in high-risk cardiology. - Experience with cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central line management. Description: 12-hour day shifts in a telemetry unit. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:5-6. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, totaling 6 shifts in a 6-week period. Experience with post-operative open-heart care is required. Responsibilities include managing cardiac telemetry, performing sheath pulls, and central line management. Additional duties include administering BiPAP, managing chest tubes, and providing respiratory support. Candidates will float within inpatient units as needed. This is an acute care environment catering to adult patients with cardiac conditions. Candidates must comply with specific procedures related to cardiac care and telemetry monitoring. The unit will involve interdisciplinary support services, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Compliance with all orientation and training policies is expected prior to the start of the assignment.
