About the Position

It includes state-of-the-art operating suites. Due to its location, various trauma cases are flown to this facility. The facility provides healthcare to the surrounding region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. Additional services encompass a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, as well as extensive imaging and lab testing services. The facility has been awarded accreditation in PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services. It has been recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. The facility boasts a strong reputation in healthcare. This location offers numerous outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. It is also within driving distance to various attractions. The patient population is primarily adults. Common diagnoses and treatments include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF. Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:6. Key equipment includes VS machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The team works collaboratively to ensure high-quality patient care. Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required. Oncology skills are helpful but not necessary. Candidates are encouraged to have strong critical thinking and communication skills.
