Production Supervisor (Contract to hire)
iBoost Talent – Food Manufacturing Client
Clarkton, North Carolina

iBoost Talent is partnering with a food manufacturing operation in Clarkton, NC to identify a  Production Supervisor to support and oversee cooking and packaging activities on a rotating first shift schedule.

This is a  hands-on supervisory contract opportunity focused on ensuring smooth, safe, and consistent production flow while strengthening team performance and driving accountability across the floor. The role is well-suited for someone who is comfortable operating in a high-paced manufacturing environment and supporting team development during operational ramp-up.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day cooking and packaging production activities across alternating shifts 
• Support daily production readiness, shift execution, and workforce accountability 
• Lead on-the-floor coaching, training, and performance development of production staff 
• Ensure adherence to food safety, GMP, HACCP, SQF, and internal quality standards 
• Track key production indicators such as output, quality, safety, and efficiency 
• Collaborate with site leadership to identify process improvements and reduce operational disruptions 
• Maintain active presence on the production floor and provide hands-on leadership support 
• Assist with weekend and overnight operations when required 

Requirements:

• Prior supervisory experience in food manufacturing or industrial production settings 
• Strong leadership ability with clear communication and team-building skills 
• Solid understanding of food safety systems and compliance standards (GMP, HACCP, SQF) 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically engaged production environment 
• Willingness to work rotating schedules, including nights and weekends as needed 
• Experience with Alchemy and SafetyChain systems preferred 
• Familiarity with RedZone is an advantage 
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required 

Compensation:

• $32 – $38 per hour (contract to hire)
