• Active SLPA license required for Alabama.
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required.

• Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing direct therapy under SLP supervision.
• Energetic, patient, and flexible approach to working in diverse classroom or school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, following prescribed goals and treatment plans from the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with screenings, documentation, and progress reports.
• Support students individually or in small groups to foster communication development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and the SLP to monitor student needs and adjust supports as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and support a positive, inclusive learning environment.
