Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Lakeland Care Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations for patients referred by physicians in order to establish tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and improve functionality. Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and tracking patient progress, adjusting treatment methodologies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Demonstrating excellence in patient care through effective communication and engagement, ensuring each patient feels supported and informed throughout their rehabilitation process. Collaborating with a team of healthcare providers, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient outcomes and improve overall effectiveness. Providing therapeutic interventions in both clinical and home settings, leveraging a variety of techniques to help patients attain their rehabilitation goals. Educating patients and their caregivers about treatment processes, home exercises, and strategies to maintain progress beyond therapy. Meeting established productivity benchmarks while contributing to the overall goals of the organization. Patient Population / Client Focus The patient population you will work with is diverse, encompassing individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. Your ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the specific needs of various demographics will be essential, as will your ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with each patient, thereby helping them achieve their functional goals. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current state licensure in Physical Therapy. Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and medical staff. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR). A commitment to establishing genuine connections with patients and fostering community relationships. Preferred Experience Candidates with additional qualifications or experience will be highly regarded: A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience. Current CPR certification.
