Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Respiratory Therapist in BECKLEY, WV this position might be what you are looking for! Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders, lung diseases, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results to guide patient care.
- Monitor patients' respiratory status, vital signs, and response to treatments
- WV License
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from NBRC preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred or required for certain roles.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred for neonatal/pediatric roles.
- Pay: $1,750.61 - $1,804.75 / week
- Location: BECKLEY, WV
- Assignment Length: 13
- Shift: Night - up to 40.00 hours per week
- Setting: Hospital
- Workplace: On-site
