Balanced Body Center PA in Matthews, NC is looking for a compassionate and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team. Responsibilities:  

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-desk experience
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinical staff
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and patient correspondence in a timely manner
• Support care team with administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily clinic operations

Requirements:



 

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing administrative role
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or medical administration certification a plus
