Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License (CDE certification required)
• Demonstrated experience or interest in serving students with affective needs or behavioral challenges

• Commitment to individualized instruction and progress monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a small caseload of students
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom atmosphere tailored to affective needs
• Collaborate with fellow educators, paraprofessionals, and specialists to provide holistic support
• Collect data to evaluate student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with guardians and school staff to discuss progress, concerns, and solutions
• Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral interventions
