Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney role based in Freeport, NY. The attorney will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including conducting client interviews, evaluating claims, and developing case strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence, negotiating with insurance carriers and opposing counsel, and preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, or trial. The role also involves attending court appearances, depositions, and hearings, maintaining accurate case files, and communicating regularly with clients about case status and options. The attorney will work closely with support staff and other team members to ensure timely, effective, and ethical representation.\n
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury practice.

• Ability to provide sound Legal Advice and practical guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
\n
• Proficiency in Labor and Employment Law as it relates to personal injury, where applicable, is beneficial.
\n
• Solid Research skills for case law, statutes, medical records, and liability issues.
\n
• Effective Negotiation skills for dealing with insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and other parties.
\n
• Active license to practice law in New York and in good standing.
\n
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting pleadings and presenting arguments in court.

• Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.

• Prior experience in personal injury litigation or civil litigation is preferred.
\n
• Commitment to professional ethics, client-centered service, and continuous legal education.
