Industrial MechanicCedar Rapids, IA 52404Job Number: 296649 Pay Rate: $28+ DOEJob DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance Mechanic Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Shift: 12 hour Pay: $28+ DOE Advance Services is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support a leading manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and plant utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control systems, maintaining plant utilities including water, air, steam, and cooling systems, inspecting and repairing pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and production equipment, performing preventive maintenance and completing work orders in the maintenance system, reading and interpreting schematics, P&IDs, and equipment drawings, and supporting root cause analysis and equipment improvements. Requirements include industrial maintenance or manufacturing maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, ability to work with motors, gearboxes, pumps, and plant utilities, comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software, and ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment. Preferred technical degree or training in Industrial Maintenance or Mechanical/Electrical Technology, experience with SAP or CMMS maintenance systems.Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a modern manufacturing environment.
