Dietary Aide

About the Role:
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our patients and residents, while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary department. Dietary Aide will work closely with our culinary team to prepare and serve a variety of meals, including therapeutic diets, and assist with menu planning and tray service.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to patients and residents, including preparation of food, plating, and delivery to rooms
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Assist with menu planning, tray service, and inventory management
Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient and effective operations
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care
Requirements:
0 years of experience as a Dietary Aide (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and teamwork skills
