In this role, you will oversee the development of wiring architectures, system schematics, and components while ensuring strict compliance with aviation certification standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and mentor junior engineers to resolve technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in aerospace electrical systems, proficiency with specialized CAD tools, and strong technical leadership capabilities.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical or other relevant engineering discipline8+ years of aircraft electrical system design experienceProven experience executing aircraft electrical architectures from initial concept through productionExpertise in sizing, integrating, and testing starter-generators, alternators, or auxiliary power unitsProficient in performing comprehensive analysis to optimize system capacity under all conditionsSkilled in designing primary and secondary distribution networks, bus architectures, and circuit protectionDesired SkillsPrevious experience using Siemens Capital for automated harness designDirect working knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516 (or civilian equivalents) electrical system safety guidelinesActive security clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
