Registered Nurse - ER

We are seeking a Night Shift, full-time ER Charge Registered Nurse to oversee shift management and ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Responsibilities Include Supervising clinical staff, assigning patients, and providing direct patient care when needed. Serving as a liaison with the Nurse Manager and House Supervisor to communicate major occurrences and unit needs. Mentoring new staff, participating in performance evaluations, and supporting team development. Assessing patient and family needs, developing and adjusting care plans, and delegating responsibilities to optimize outcomes. Ensuring compliance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and maintaining high standards of care. Qualifications 2-year degree (additional preference for a 4-year degree). Current Kansas RN licensure. BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS certification specific to unit. Experience in similar healthcare settings is preferred.
