Temp - Patient Care Tech (PCT) - Radiology Aide (Nights) Pittsfield, MA

We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Aide to join our team on night shifts in Pittsfield, MA. The ideal candidate will assist in the Radiology Department, specifically supporting MRI operations. This role requires working collaboratively with other Tech Aides and MRI Technicians in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting patient care activities, ensuring smooth workflow within the department, and adhering to all safety and procedure protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in MRI procedures and patient positioning under supervision
• Support patient care activities to ensure comfort and safety
• Handle equipment setup and basic maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with technical staff to maintain efficient department operations
• Follow all department policies and safety guidelines
• Document patient information and report any issues to the supervising staff

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work night shifts reliably
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must be vaccinated per department requirements

Schedule:

• Night shifts, specific hours to be confirmed
• No block scheduling or 10/12-hour shifts
• Work will involve working with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech; no solo shifts
• After midnight, coverage is via call

Additional Information:

• GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 experience preferred
• Approximate patient load of 9 patients per shift
• Limited RTO requests; maximum of 5 days accepted and must be verified before upload
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
• Ensure all contact information and voicemail setup are complete for timely communication
