As an Access Associate Senior at UVA Health you play a critical role in ensuring patients receive seamless, compassionate entry into care across our high‑performing academic medical system. The position may be hybrid after 6 months. Pay Starting base rate $19.50/hr. Pay ranges up to $30.14/hr based on experience and qualifications. Includes a $3,500 sign‑on bonus with a 2‑year commitment. Role In this high‑impact position you will serve as a trusted access expert across multiple clinical settings, supporting patient intake, registration, scheduling, and financial clearance functions. You will adapt quickly, maintain accuracy, and provide outstanding service to directly influence patient experience and operational efficiency. Associate’s degree preferred. Experience: 2 years relevant experience required, or an access associate fully cross‑trained to cover multiple specialties will be considered. Licensure: None required. Physical Demands: Job requires prolonged sitting; repetitive motion (computer and mouse use). Must have adequate auditory, visual, and communicative skills, attention to detail, and legible writing.
