Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Chemotherapy Certification (must have to perform chemotherapy) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred) Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Med/Surg Experience Description: This position is for a backfill contract RN in the Telemetry unit. The unit provides modified total patient care to general medical/surgical patients and surgical oncology patients. The patient population includes young adults, adults, middle-aged, and older adults. Staffing consists of a charge nurse and a team of nurses and patient care technicians. Patient ratio is 1 nurse for every 6 patients. Telemetry monitoring is available 24 hours a day. The unit uses Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment and GE Telemetry Monitoring technology. Candidates should demonstrate an outgoing personality and a team-oriented approach. The dress code primarily consists of navy scrubs. Awards and recognition, including awards for outstanding performance, highlight the unit's commitment to excellence. This position requires every other weekend on-call availability. The unit thrives on collaboration and the professional growth of its staff.
