Oracle ERP Lead Technical Consultant

Role Description

A Lead Technical Consultant at Argano is a seasoned member of the Technical Consulting team with deep technical expertise. They are responsible for leading and managing mid-to-large software projects using Argano’s professional services and solutions. They have a deep understanding of software development and often serve as technical experts within the company. The Lead Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant will integrate and extend Oracle Cloud SaaS solutions using Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS). Their responsibilities include:

• Writing code
• Analyzing data
• Contributing to the design and implementation of software
• Leading the analysis/design phase of the system development life cycle to develop user requirements
• Determining best business/technical solutions to meet user needs
• Ensuring the ability to meet users’ implementation time frames

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and deploy Oracle Integrations solutions.
• Design and create integrations using tools such as Oracle ERP cloud: FBDI, HDL, BIP, as well as Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• Develop OIC integrations between Oracle Cloud applications and legacy applications.
• Collaborate with clients and various cross-functional teams to define and determine integration requirements and integration strategy.
• Define and implement best practices for integrations with standard enterprise systems such as Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards, and EBS.
• Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews.
• Work closely with client resources to transfer technical knowledge and give guidance on best practices.
• Ensure quality of development deliverables by applying proven testing methodologies.
• Provide knowledge transfer of Oracle's solutions and integrations through meetings and presentation demonstrations.
• Maintain well-documented procedural instructions to hand off to clients.
• Status reporting to project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development.
• Minimum 4 years of report development experience.
• Minimum 3 years working with Oracle Integrations Cloud solutions – Oracle Integration Cloud Certification a plus.
• Overall 7+ years of IT experience.
• Development experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, JD Edwards, and E-Business Suite).
• Experience in designing and developing complex integrations.
• Experience creating OIC solutions using REST, SOAP, FBDI, BI Publisher.
• Experience developing customization using Visual Builder and Process Builder is preferred.
• Working knowledge of API security certification, authentication, authorization, IP security setup, and endpoint configuration.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to be proactive at solving issues and conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High commitment to exceed performance expectations.
• Senior enough to independently handle client expectations.
• Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
