What You'll Do

• Observe and monitor residents' mental and physical well-being, reporting changes promptly to the supervisor
• Accurately transcribe and execute physicians' orders, administer medications and treatments, and document all care via electronic systems
• Supervise and assist Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) in providing quality resident care, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, transfers, and documentation
• Perform wound care, manage oxygen therapy, and support the overall health needs of residents in a long-term care environment
• Coordinate with medical staff and residents' families to communicate care plans and resident status
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure a hazard-free environment in the unit
• Participate in staff training and orientation as needed, and contribute to a collaborative team culture

What You Need

• Current NH Nurse License
• CPR/BLS certification
• 1+ year experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to supervise staff effectively
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a rural facility setting with limited transportation options
