User Support Specialist

IT User Support Specialist Benesch is a multi‑disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm that designs infrastructure across the country. Overview The IT User Support Specialist provides day‑to‑day technical support to employees at 45+ U.S. locations, delivering issue resolution, onboarding/offboarding support, and infrastructure maintenance. Location Hybrid schedule or full‑time at any Benesch office. Your Impact and Responsibilities Provide user support via phone or ITSM system, troubleshooting hardware, software, login and MFA issues. Escalate complex infrastructure problems to appropriate teams. Travel (10‑20%) to offices for hardware deployment and upgrades. Support home‑office infrastructure needs. Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and monitoring platform. Collaborate with Software Support for license tracking and updates. Partner with Infrastructure group on unresolved issues and projects. Assist with onboarding and training of new staff in IT systems. Document technical solutions. What You Will Need B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Minimum two years of hardware and software support experience. Minimum two years of Office 365/Teams experience. Experience in tier 1 help‑desk support and familiarity with Windows OS. Strong prioritization, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving, and written communication skills. Basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting knowledge. Experience with Tanium and PDQ is a plus.
