Senior Level AccountantFirm seeking a Senior Level Accountant with public accounting experience to join a leading CPA firm in the area. The Accountant will provide assistance and guidance to individuals and businesses in basic tax management, accounting services and also financial services. Track to partnership offered to the right accountant.Responsibilities of Accountant:Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logsFollow our company's established accounting processesSupport accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entryPerform monthly bank settlementsRegularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accountsProvide detailed reconciliation of all balance sheet accountsPrepare documentation of external auditorsQualifications of Accountant:Bachelor's degree in accounting and 150 college credits.5 years of public accounting experienceExperience in individual, partnership and corporate taxKnowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting softwareHighly organized with high attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlinesCPA preferred or eligible to take the CPA exam.Compensation for Accountant Role:Benefits: 401k plan, health, dental, vision, paid vacation, and paid holidaysContinuing education programsFlexible schedules in order to maintain a strong work and life balanceUpward mobility into a partnership role for the right individualWeekly firm purchased lunchesTo be considered, please apply with a resume.
