Logistics Coordinator

Seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to support domestic transportation operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining compliance, and delivering excellent customer service across business accounts. Key Responsibilities Ensure all logistics activities align with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards Coordinate with transportation providers to manage timely and accurate shipment movement Respond to customer inquiries including quotes, tracking, and shipment updates Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and invoices within internal transportation management systems (TMS) Monitor inventory levels and manage shipping schedules Review operations for risks, compliance gaps, and process improvements Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on logistics activities Troubleshoot issues and resolve shipment or service-related challenge Core Competencies Strong understanding of logistics processes and regulatory requirements Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment Highly organized with strong attention to detail Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across teams Essential Functions Plan, organize, and prioritize daily workload to meet operational goals Analyze data and reports to support decision-making and process improvements Maintain high levels of customer service across all accounts Develop and sustain positive working relationships internally and externally Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Additional Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred) Experience with transportation or logistics systems (TMS platforms) Strong data analysis and data manipulation capabilities Solid understanding of operational systems and workflows Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or freight-related operations Background in customer service and shipment documentation strongly preferred $25-35/hr Temp to perm opportunity Onsite: Hawthorne, CA Working Hours: Monday- Friday (7am-4pm OR 8am-5pm) #J-18808-Ljbffr
