What You’ll Do Supporting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Preparing patients and surgical instruments for procedures Providing surgical assistance and post‑operative nursing care Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Assisting with outpatient treatments and in‑house laboratory testing Supporting patient flow through admissions and discharges Collecting patient histories and maintaining accurate medical records Using safe restraint techniques and following standard protocols Maintaining clean, organized, and sterile treatment, exam, and lab areas Communicating with clients about pet health concerns, medications, and treatment plans Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient hospital operations What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of clinical veterinary experience required CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged Experience assisting with surgery and post‑operative care Strong technical and organizational skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Commitment to creating a low‑stress, compassionate experience for patients You’ll Thrive Here If You Are Self‑motivated and dependable Detail‑oriented and clinically confident Passionate about patient care and learning Supportive and collaborative with teammates About Rowlett Veterinary Clinic Rowlett Veterinary Clinic provides primary care for cats and dogs across Rowlett, Rockwall, Garland, Mesquite, Wylie, and Sachse.
