Regional Maintenance Director

Regional Maintenance DirectorTallis Corp. is seeking a reliable and experienced Regional Maintenance Director to support the maintenance needs of our network of nine skilled nursing facilities throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. This role serves as a hands-on maintenance resource, assisting facility maintenance teams with repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, regulatory compliance, and special projects. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and capable of traveling between facilities to help ensure buildings, systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.Provide maintenance support across all nine facilities as neededAssist with routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and general building systemsConduct facility inspections to identify maintenance concerns and safety issuesSupport preventative maintenance programs and help maintain maintenance schedulesRespond to maintenance requests and assist with urgent repair needsHelp ensure facilities remain compliant with local, state, and federal health and safety requirementsMaintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activitiesCoordinate with facility administrators, maintenance staff, and vendors to address maintenance needs efficientlyAssist with facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and vendor-supported repairsTravel regularly between facilities to provide on-site maintenance assistance and support3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, multi-site facilities, or commercial maintenance environmentsWorking knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, HVAC systems, and general building maintenanceHVAC certification (required)Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple locationsEnglish proficiency (required)Electrical Certification (preferred)Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)Experience working in skilled nursing facilities, healthcare environments, or senior living communitiesFamiliarity with preventative maintenance programs and compliance-related inspectionsExperience coordinating with contractors and service vendorsFrequent travel between facilities throughout the Greater Los Angeles areaCombination of indoor and outdoor work environmentsOccasional after-hours or emergency response may be requiredActive role requiring walking, lifting, climbing ladders, and performing hands-on maintenance tasks
