Principal Data Analyst

Role Description

Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. Act as the Product Owner to maximize the business value derived from the contact data domain.

• Define the strategic roadmap and success metrics for the contact domain related data products.
• Govern global contact data standards and policies, ensuring fitness for use in downstream systems.
• Implement AI/ML-driven automation for enhanced data quality and standardization.
• Consult data consumers, analysts, and data scientists on navigating data sources and interpreting data definitions to support their use cases.
• Work collaboratively across functions and domains to manage data acquisition, enrichment, and integrations to make data readily accessible.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of data through operational monitoring, validation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of experience as a business and technical lead for end-to-end data product lifecycles, including defining project scope, gathering business requirements, overseeing solution architecture, and performing user acceptance testing.
• Five (5) years of experience with:
  • Utilizing SQL for data extraction and advanced analytics to identify patterns and extract insights from large-scale enterprise data products.
  • Communicating complex data findings into actionable business strategies for technical and business audiences.
  • Leading data strategy initiatives, implementing data enrichment and data management solutions to improve data quality in core business platforms, including Marketo and Salesforce.com.
  • Conducting business and technical demonstrations, utilizing data visualization tools to communicate data insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with platform administrators, system analysts, and data engineers to implement data solutions and pipelines integrating data between platforms.

Benefits

• The salary range for this position is $125,653 - $180,000/year. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
• This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
• Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package.
• For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
