Special Education Paraprofessional – $26–$31/hr | North St. Paul, MN Area
ProCare Therapy is hiring full-time Special Education Paraprofessionals in the North St. Paul, Minnesota area.
Multiple opportunities are available across a variety of Special Education settings. Assignments range from early childhood and traditional K–12 classrooms to intensive behavioral support and transition-age programming. Your experience and strengths can help determine which assignment is the best fit.
Pay & Schedule
$26–$31 per hour based on experience and assignment
32.5–40 hours per week depending on caseload and duties
Monday–Friday school schedule
Full-time, on-site opportunities

Available SPED Settings
Depending on your background and preferences, opportunities may include:
Early Childhood Special Education supporting younger children with developmental and educational needs
Elementary Special Education classrooms
Middle and high school Special Education programs
Intensive behavioral and higher-support SPED settings
Transition programs supporting young adults preparing for greater independence, employment, and community participation
1:1 assignments supporting an individual student's specific IEP needs
Specialized therapeutic and educational programs
Classroom-based support working alongside Special Education teachers and related service providers
Who We're Looking For
We are interested in candidates with experience supporting children, adolescents, or adults with disabilities.
Relevant backgrounds can include:
Special Education or paraprofessional experience
ABA or behavioral support
RBT or Behavior Technician experience
Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience
1:1 disability support
Caregiving or personal care
Residential or community-based disability programs
Childcare or youth programs
Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, de-escalation, life skills, personal care, or higher-support populations is especially valuable.
What You May Be Supporting
Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include classroom and academic support, behavior intervention, 1:1 assistance, communication, mobility, personal care, daily living skills, community-based instruction, or helping students develop greater independence.
Candidates should be flexible, dependable, and comfortable following IEPs and established student support plans while working alongside teachers and Special Education teams.
