Special Education Paraprofessional – $26–$31/hr | North St. Paul, MN Area

ProCare Therapy is hiring full-time Special Education Paraprofessionals in the northern St. Paul, Minnesota area for the upcoming school year.

We are looking for candidates with experience supporting children, students, or young adults with disabilities. Multiple assignments are available across a variety of special education programs, allowing us to consider your experience and strengths when determining the best fit.

Position Details

* Location: Northern St. Paul, MN area
* Pay: $26–$31 per hour based on experience and caseload
* Hours: 32.5–40 hours per week depending on assignment and duties
* Schedule: Monday–Friday
* Full-time, school-based positions
* Multiple age groups and program options available

Available Special Education Programs

Assignments may include:

* ECSE: Early Childhood Special Education serving young children from birth through age 5 who require additional developmental and educational support.
* K–12 Program: An intensive special education setting supporting K–12 students with significant academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This includes Level 4 programming for students requiring a highly structured and intensive level of support.
* Transition Program: Supports students with disabilities transitioning from high school into adulthood with an emphasis on independent living, employment, community participation, and functional life skills.
* Building-Based Special Education: Opportunities within elementary, middle, and high schools supporting students in special education classrooms, small groups, or other specialized settings.
* 1:1 Student Support: Individual assignments supporting students whose IEP needs may include behavioral, medical, mobility, personal care, or intensive instructional assistance.

Experience We're Looking For

* Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities
* Special education, paraprofessional, ABA, RBT, behavior technician, DSP, PCA, caregiving, or similar experience
* Comfortable supporting students with a wide range of disability and support needs
* Experience with behavioral support, redirection, de-escalation, and positive reinforcement is highly valued
* Comfortable assisting with personal care, toileting, mobility, or daily living skills when required by the assignment
* Ability to follow IEPs, behavior plans, and direction from teachers and Special Education staff
* Dependable, patient, flexible, and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
