Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services in intensive care units, ensuring patient safety and optimal health outcomes. Adapt to various unit needs and maintain high standards of clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients in ICU, responding swiftly to changes in condition.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Assist in the orientation and training of new staff or float pool nurses.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid NJ/Compact RN license at the time of submission.
Possess 2+ years of current ICU experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in ICU procedures and emergency protocols.
Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
Be flexible to float across units including IMU, RMC, and MST.
