Maintenance Technician II

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement root-cause solutions.
Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure machines run within specifications to support consistent, high-quality output.
Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance equipment performance, reduce waste, and strengthen product quality.
Assist with installation, setup, and optimization of new equipment and process improvements or upgrades.
Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records, documenting issues, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities. Assist with production needs such as unloading trucks, filling hoppers, and starting machinery as required to support workflow.
Communicate work progress, repair timelines, and equipment status clearly with supervisors and production teams.
Conduct regular production-floor checks to identify equipment issues early, monitor machine performance, and support consistent product quality.
Train new associates in appropriate safety procedures, work instructions and quality standards. Actively contributes to continuous process improvement. Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities; meet training and/or certification requirements of the job, department, product or area as designated/defined in work instructions and quality standards.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers.
