Asphalt Paver OperatorThe Asphalt Paver Operator operates an asphalt paver to lay freshly placed asphalt for roads, bike paths, parking areas, etc. This individual will also assist with equipment maintenance and paver changes. Other miscellaneous general laborer duties may be assigned. This is a full-time seasonal position based out of Newton, Iowa.The requirements represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to fulfill position expectations. Additional or other duties may be assigned.The Equipment Operator will collaborate between field foreman and paving team, maintain production and direct asphalt trucks, and perform ground tasks such as luting and shoveling black top.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
