CMM PROGRAMMER

Job Title

We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate with a strong commitment to quality. The ideal person will be able to solve problems and make sound decisions independently. They should be organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and a team player who communicates effectively across departments. Commitment to continuous improvement and process efficiency is also required.

The candidate will develop and maintain CMM programs for first article, in-process, and final inspections. They will program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements. They will perform First Article Inspections (FAIs), support Engineering and Quality by developing inspection methods and inspection documentation, and maintain CMM equipment, probe qualifications, and program libraries. They will troubleshoot quality issues and recommend process improvements, train CMM operators, and assist in developing work instructions. Accurate completion of inspection records and documentation is also required.

Experience with medical device manufacturing, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, SolidWorks, ERP systems, and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation is highly preferred.

This position requires medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking throughout the workday, and wearing required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and non-slip shoes.
