CMM Programmer

We’re seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our Quality Assurance team and play a key role in ensuring the precision and reliability of our medical implant products. In this position, you will program and operate Hexagon Metrology CMMs using PC-DMIS to verify critical dimensions on high-precision components. Your expertise will help maintain full compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards and support the safety and performance of products that improve patient lives. What You’ll Do Develop, optimize, and run CMM inspection programs for medical implants and precision components Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models to build accurate inspection strategies Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections for titanium, stainless steel, and other high-precision parts Analyze results, identify non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to improve processes and workflows Support gage R&R studies, calibration, and validation efforts Train and guide QC inspectors on CMM operation and inspection interpretation What You Bring High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred 5+ years of CMM programming experience in a regulated, high-precision environment (medical device, aerospace, etc.) Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and 3D CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent Proficiency with CMM software; PC-DMIS highly preferred Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and understanding of compliance standards Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
