We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Crescent Pharmacy ! As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, checking for accuracy, and inputting that information into our system. You will also be accepting payments for prescriptions, receiving incoming inventory, and answering customer questions and concerns. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Assisting the Pharmacist in Prescription processing, compounding and dispensing medications, documentation and record keeping. 
• Patient assistance including billing and processing insurance claims.
• Maintain records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Answer customer inquiries about medications, and general store information and process customer payments.
• Maintain and update patient profiles and prescription records and support pharmacist with various tasks as needed
• Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels.
• Assist pharmacists in verifying the accuracy and completeness of prescriptions and enter prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy's computer system.
• Ensure that all prescription containers are properly labeled with relevant information, including patient instructions and cautionary labels.
• Interact with pharmacy customers, handle inquiries, and provide assistance to customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Immunizer, preferred
• Prescription Billing Experience required
• Technician License (preferred but not required)
  • PTCB – Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT)
  • NHA – National Healthcareer Association (ExCPT, certified pharmacy technician)
• BestRx Software Knowledge and Experience Required
• Strong organizational skills
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology
• Spanish speaking a Plus
• Urdu speaking a Plus

Job Type:

• Full-Time
• On-Site

Schedule

• Monday to Friday 10a-6p
• Weekends as needed 10a-4p
• Flexible Schedule

Pay Rate

• Hourly
• $20-25
• $30 if licensed to immunize
• Bi-weekly pay period
• Start date ASAP
