Job Title: Machine Operator (Welder Operator - Welding Machine)

We are seeking a Welder Operator to support the production of ground screws used in solar energy and construction projects. This role involves performing basic MIG welding, operating robotic welding equipment, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring products meet production and quality standards.

• Perform small MIG welds to prepare components for robotic welding.
• Set up, operate, and monitor robotic welding machines.
• Load and position materials correctly for welding operations.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Identify welding defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Conduct routine quality checks throughout the production process.
• Follow work orders, production schedules, and welding procedures.
• Perform basic fabrication and general production support tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all welding and manufacturing safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling and machine operation as required.
• Report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors.

• Experience with MIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to produce quality welds and identify welding defects.
• Experience operating welding machinery or automated equipment.
• Basic knowledge of robotic welding systems and controls.
• Ability to load, position, and secure materials for welding.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
• Comfortable performing general labor and manufacturing tasks.

• Previous machine operator experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with robotic welding equipment.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and metalworking techniques.
• Experience performing quality inspections and production checks.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or fabrication documents.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
