HR Generalist

Industry: IT Software / Services Job Location: Jersey City, NJ My Roles and Responsibilities I've spent over 7+ years working in HR across manufacturing, engineering, and tech and the part I keep coming back to is how much a good people strategy actually moves the needle for a business. Whether it's guiding leaders through a tough reorganization, building an L&D program from nothing, or making sense of messy workforce data, I genuinely enjoy doing the work, not just overseeing it. A big chunk of my experience has been in high-stakes environments. I've led HR through two post‑merger integrations: Eaton into Danfoss, and Eaton into Cooper/Signify, which meant rebuilding processes from the ground up, keeping employees informed and steady during a lot of change, and making sure nothing fell through the cracks operationally. Those experiences taught me a lot about what it actually takes to hold things together when the org chart is in flux. On the L&D side, I've designed and run training programs for over 2,000 engineers and professionals across technical and functional areas. I own the full lifecycle—needs analysis, curriculum design, LMS coordination, delivery, and evaluation. I've also built HR analytics dashboards in Power BI and Excel that gave leadership real visibility into headcount, attrition, and performance.
