Our products include commercial and residential outdoor power equipment, riding and standing mowers, and electric utility and off-road vehicles.\nBy utilizing advanced battery, control, and drive technologies, Greenworks delivers the power and performance customers expect while helping transition outdoor power equipment away from traditional gas-powered technology.\nPosition Summary\n The Senior IT Systems & Infrastructure Specialist – Manufacturing serves as a primary on-site technical resource for the Tennessee manufacturing operation and provides advanced support for IT infrastructure, business systems, manufacturing technology, and end-user computing.\nThis position reports administratively to the Plant Manager and works in close functional partnership with the Greenworks IT Infrastructure team to ensure local technology aligns with Greenworks enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, technical standards, policies, and business objectives.\nThis is a senior, hands-on technical role. The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting day-to-day user and operational technology needs while also independently troubleshooting complex networking, wireless, server, systems, and infrastructure issues.\nThe position will work closely with Greenworks IT, plant leadership, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, business application teams, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain reliable, secure, and effective technology services.\nThe primary work location is Morristown, Tennessee. The position may also provide IT support to Team Tech and other Greenworks or affiliated operations as business requirements dictate.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nIT Infrastructure and Systems\n\n Serve as a senior on-site technical resource for IT infrastructure, systems, networking, and end-user technology within the Tennessee manufacturing operation.\n Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and assist with implementation of local IT infrastructure in accordance with Greenworks enterprise IT standards and architecture.\n Support LAN, WAN, VLAN, wireless, switching, routing, VPN, firewall, internet connectivity, structured cabling, and related network infrastructure.\n Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, wireless coverage, authentication, and other infrastructure-related issues.\n Support Windows server environments, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and other site infrastructure where applicable.\n Monitor infrastructure and system health and proactively identify reliability, performance, capacity, and security concerns.\n Assist with server installations, infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, migrations, facility expansions, and new system deployments.\n Coordinate infrastructure design and significant configuration changes with Greenworks IT Infrastructure.\n\nMicrosoft and Enterprise Technology\n\n Support Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments.\n Support Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication, user/group administration, permissions, and related enterprise services within the appropriate assigned level of access.\n Troubleshoot operating system, authentication, application, connectivity, and enterprise technology issues.\n Work with Greenworks enterprise technology teams when issues require elevated access, architecture changes, or specialized expertise.\n\nManufacturing and Operational Technology Support\n\n Support the IT technology and infrastructure required for manufacturing, warehouse, and operational environments.\n Support production workstations, warehouse terminals, industrial PCs, barcode scanners, handheld/mobile devices, label printers, barcode printers, and other technology used in manufacturing and warehouse operations.\n Support network connectivity and IT integration for manufacturing and Operational Technology (OT) systems.\n Work with Engineering, automation teams, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and Greenworks IT to troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues involving production equipment and systems.\n Support IT components associated with ERP, MES, production, warehouse, and related manufacturing systems.\n Assist with technology deployments associated with new production equipment, manufacturing lines, facility changes, and operational projects.\n Coordinate appropriately with Engineering and automation resources for PLC, controls, and machine-specific issues. PLC programming and industrial control engineering are not primary responsibilities of this position unless specifically assigned.\n\nBusiness Systems and Applications\n\n Provide technical and first-line support for enterprise business applications used by the facility, including systems such as SAP, Salesforce, ADP, Power BI, and related business applications.\n Troubleshoot workstation, connectivity, authentication, printing, interface, and other technical issues affecting enterprise applications.\n Escalate application-specific configuration, development, business process, or functional issues to the appropriate Greenworks application or business systems teams.\n Assist with the implementation and integration of new enterprise or manufacturing applications as required.\n Coordinate application-related infrastructure requirements with Greenworks IT and appropriate business stakeholders.\n\nEnd-User and Operational Support\n\n Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, monitors, conference room technology, applications, peripherals, and other end-user computing equipment.\n Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, application, network, printing, and connectivity issues.\n Assist users with technology-related issues and provide technical guidance and training where appropriate.\n Support user onboarding, equipment deployment, configuration, replacement, and offboarding activities as required.\n Serve as an escalation resource for technical issues that cannot be resolved through standard end-user support processes.\n Prioritize production-impacting and operationally critical incidents appropriately.\n\nCybersecurity\n\n Ensure local systems, infrastructure, and technology practices comply with Greenworks cybersecurity policies and standards.\n Assist with endpoint protection, security monitoring, operating system and application patching, vulnerability remediation, access control, MFA, and system hardening.\n Follow least-privilege principles and established Greenworks standards for administrative access and account management.\n Assist with remediation of identified security vulnerabilities and configuration issues.\n Immediately escalate suspected cybersecurity incidents according to Greenworks incident-response procedures.\n Work with Greenworks IT and cybersecurity resources during security investigations and remediation activities.\n Ensure technology changes do not introduce unnecessary cybersecurity or operational risk.\n\nProjects and Technology Implementation\n\n Participate in and, where appropriate, lead site IT and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and completion.\n Support projects involving network upgrades, wireless deployments, server installations, infrastructure refreshes, facility expansions, new equipment, manufacturing systems, migrations, and other technology initiatives.\n Coordinate project activities with Greenworks IT Infrastructure, plant leadership, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.\n Identify technical requirements, dependencies, risks, implementation requirements, and support needs for assigned projects.\n Assist with testing, implementation, validation, and post-deployment support.\n\nIT Standards and Change Management\n\n Follow Greenworks enterprise IT architecture, infrastructure standards, cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures.\n Coordinate significant network, server, security, infrastructure, and enterprise system changes with Greenworks IT.\n Follow established IT change-management procedures for production-impacting or enterprise technology changes.\n Escalate requirements involving enterprise architecture decisions, elevated system access, cybersecurity review, or specialized technical expertise to the appropriate Greenworks IT resource.\n Help ensure that site-specific technology does not become isolated from or incompatible with Greenworks enterprise IT standards.\n\nDocumentation\n\n Maintain accurate technical documentation for supported site infrastructure and systems.\n Maintain or contribute to network diagrams, equipment inventories, rack documentation, IP addressing, VLAN documentation, system configurations, procedures, technical standards, and troubleshooting documentation.\n Document significant infrastructure changes and newly implemented technology.\n Maintain knowledge-base information and operating procedures where appropriate.\n Share relevant site technical information with Greenworks IT Infrastructure to maintain enterprise visibility of the environment.\n\nAsset Management and Lifecycle Planning\n\n Maintain accurate information regarding site IT assets including computers, mobile devices, printers, scanners, network infrastructure, servers, and other technology equipment.\n Assist with hardware lifecycle planning, equipment refreshes, warranty management, and replacement planning.\n Coordinate IT equipment procurement with Greenworks IT standards and approved technology vendors where applicable.\n Assist with appropriate disposal or recycling of retired IT equipment in accordance with company security and asset-disposal requirements.\n\nVendors and Service Providers\n\n Coordinate with external technology vendors, contractors, internet service providers, cabling companies, equipment manufacturers, and service providers as required.\n Work with vendors and Greenworks IT to troubleshoot service issues and complete technology projects.\n Assist with vendor site access, technical requirements, implementation coordination, and validation of completed work.\n Escalate recurring vendor or service-related issues when necessary.\n\nBackup, Recovery, and Business Continuity\n\n Support local backup and recovery processes where applicable.\n Work with Greenworks IT to ensure critical local infrastructure and systems are appropriately included in enterprise backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity planning.\n Participate in recovery testing, outage response, and restoration activities as required.\n Assist with technology recovery during significant infrastructure, system, or facility incidents.\n\nCross-Site Collaboration\n\n Act as a primary liaison between Tennessee operations and the Greenworks IT Infrastructure team for infrastructure-related issues, projects, requirements, risks, and planned changes.\n Collaborate with other Greenworks IT Infrastructure team members and technology resources across company locations.\n Provide technical assistance to Team Tech and other Tennessee locations as required.\n Participate in cross-site IT projects and initiatives when appropriate.\n Share technical knowledge and assist other IT team members with complex issues when required.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities\n\n Support company policies, procedures, and technology initiatives in support of business objectives.\n Maintain a strong focus on system availability, reliability, cybersecurity, and manufacturing continuity.\n Communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n Balance urgent operational support needs with longer-term project and infrastructure responsibilities.\n Perform other IT-related duties as required.\n\nRequired Education and Experience\n\n Minimum of approximately 5–7 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including experience in systems administration, networking, infrastructure, or a comparable technical role.\n Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure and systems issues.\n Strong working knowledge of Windows desktop and server environments.\n Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, switching, VLANs, routing, wireless networking, VPN technologies, and firewalls.\n Experience troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity and performance issues.\n Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication, and permissions.\n Experience supporting enterprise servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud-connected services.\n Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals including endpoint security, patch management, access control, MFA, vulnerability remediation, and incident escalation.\n Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other end-user and operational technology.\n Ability to diagnose technical problems systematically and determine appropriate solutions or escalation paths.\n Experience participating in or leading infrastructure upgrades, implementations, migrations, or technology projects.\n Strong technical documentation skills.\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with remote technical teams and non-technical business users.\n Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n Ability to work independently while following enterprise technology standards and collaborating closely with centralized IT teams.\n Highly motivated, dependable, and able to follow technical issues through to resolution.\n\nPreferred Experience\n The following experience would be considered an asset:\n\n IT experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or other operationally critical environment.\n Experience supporting SAP or another enterprise ERP platform.\n Familiarity with MES platforms or other manufacturing technology systems.\n Familiarity with Operational Technology environments and the interaction between IT networks and manufacturing systems.\n Experience supporting barcode scanning, mobile warehouse technology, Zebra or comparable printers/scanners, or other warehouse technology.\n Experience with enterprise wireless networking.\n Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud technologies.\n Experience with network monitoring and infrastructure management tools.\n Experience with PowerShell or other sc
