Electrical Service Technician

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Service Technician to join their growing team. If you enjoy solving complex electrical challenges, working hands-on with industrial equipment, and delivering exceptional service to customers, this is the opportunity for you.

In this role, you'll perform field service, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on motors, transformers, and other industrial electrical equipment for commercial and industrial clients. Every day brings new challenges, opportunities to learn, and the chance to make a real impact.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair motors, transformers, and industrial electrical equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and field service work at customer locations
Inspect equipment and recommend solutions to improve reliability and performance
Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals
Maintain a strong commitment to safety and industry best practices
Communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional service
Complete service reports and documentation using mobile and computer-based tools

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

Knowledge of electrical apparatus repair and maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently in a field service environment
Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
Safety-conscious, dependable, and self-motivated
Proficient in reading and speaking English
Basic computer and mobile device skills

Preferred Qualifications

2-year electrical or technical degree
2+ years of experience as an electrical, field service, or industrial technician
