Creative Director

You set the creative bar for everything Pressrun ships — from editorial packaging to campaign visuals to motion content. You'll work directly with founders and operators to turn their ideas into assets that earn attention, build credibility, and move markets. What you'll do Define and maintain the visual and tonal identity across all client deliverables Lead creative direction for book launches, editorial campaigns, and content programs Art-direct motion, video, and static content from concept through delivery Collaborate with the editorial, strategy, and engineering teams to develop new content formats Present creative concepts to clients and translate feedback into refined output Build and mentor a team of designers, motion artists, and creative technologists Identify emerging visual trends and integrate them into Pressrun's creative toolkit What we're looking for 8+ years of creative leadership at an agency, studio, or publisher A portfolio that spans editorial, brand, and digital — not just one lane Proven experience directing motion and video content, not just static design Strong opinions about taste, held loosely enough to collaborate well Experience presenting and selling creative work to senior stakeholders Fluency in Figma, After Effects, and modern design tooling Nice to have Experience with AI-assisted design workflows Background in publishing, media, or content-first businesses Understanding of how design impacts SEO, social performance, and discoverability Equity participation Health, dental, and vision insurance Unlimited PTO with a 3-week minimum $2,500 annual learning & development budget #J-18808-Ljbffr
