Job Description Our client is a successful and stable manufacturing company located in greater Waterbury with a need for an experienced Operations Manager to help run our busy operation. Job duties include: Production planning and scheduling Creation of KPIs; monitoring and improvement of production metrics (on time delivery, lead time, waste, and efficiency) Training and development of supervisory staff and operators Maintaining safety and compliance Maintaining machinery and equipment Oversight of the quality function, working through and developing the Quality Supervisor Inventory control Continuous improvement, problem solving, and problem analysis Resolution of escalated employee and customer issues Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment and resources About You: Bachelor’s Degree preferred 5+ years Operations/Production Management experience in a small job shop environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel Excellent time management skills, including ability to prioritize tasks Basic familiarity with ISO 9001 compliance #J-18808-Ljbffr
