Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient office in Woodbridge, where you will work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and resources necessary to facilitate effective treatment and rehabilitation. The hours for this position include Monday to Friday from either 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing a structured schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and create individualized treatment plans tailored to aid in recovery from surgery, injury, or illness.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods such as exercise, hands-on therapy, and assistive devices aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring all treatments and outcomes are tracked updated in compliance with health regulations.
• Regularly reevaluate therapeutic goals based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and proper use of assistive modalities to foster independence in daily activities.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient demographic ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, each with unique diagnoses requiring personalized care strategies. You will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for patients by guiding them through recovery and helping them achieve their health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
• A current, valid State License to practice Physical Therapy
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and their families
• Proficiency in computer systems and word processing software to support documentation and patient management.
• A flexible and adaptable nature to thrive in a fast-paced clinic.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desirable.
• Prior involvement in continuing education or clinical workshops will be beneficial.
• Experience working with specific therapeutic modalities and techniques will enhance treatment options available to patients.

Compensation and Benefits
