Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, offering in-home care to patients within our extensive service area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing individualized care tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities aimed at improving mobility and function.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to enhance range of motion, reduce pain, and promote overall physical wellness.
• Educate patients on preventative care techniques and alternative therapies that can help mitigate their conditions.
• Foster a motivational atmosphere that encourages patients to stay engaged and committed to their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress using EMR software systems like WebPT.
• Regularly analyze treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Elite Rehab, your primary focus will be on patients who require rehabilitation following orthopedic injuries, post-surgery recovery, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. Our approach centers on rehabilitation after sports injuries, surgeries, and general mobility challenges, ensuring that each patient receives care specifically tailored to their condition and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid State Physical Therapist License in Virginia with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated competency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient care. Familiarity with sports medicine and rehabilitation will be an added advantage, as we work predominantly with athletes and active individuals seeking to return to their pre-injury performance levels.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings options.
