The Role
As a 2nd Shift Heavy Equipment Operator Supervisor , you'll lead a team of Heavy Equipment Operators and Utility Technicians while overseeing daily production activities across the site.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll manage workflow, support safety initiatives, coach employees, monitor production goals, and operate equipment when needed to keep operations running efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience (Supervisor, Team Lead, Foreman, Crew Lead, Shift Lead, etc.)
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment experience in manufacturing, recycling, agriculture, construction, material handling, or industrial operations
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and equipment operation
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Experience coaching and developing employees

Preferred

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with composting, recycling, agriculture, or material handling operations
• Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or screening equipment
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Regular standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and working on uneven terrain
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear required PPE and respiratory protection when necessary
• Comfortable working around dust, noise, moving machinery, mud, odors, and industrial operating conditions
