Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional and/or substitute teacher in school settings
• Passion for working 1:1 with pediatric students from kindergarten through high school
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and special education support
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to one student, adapting instructional materials and approaches as needed
• Assist classroom teachers in maintaining an inclusive and positive environment for special education learners
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and support staff
• Foster academic and social development through daily interactions and encouragement
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and all school policies
