2nd CNC Shift Lead

2nd CNC Shift Lead Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $26.00 to $30.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 01:03pm)

• Lead and support a team of CNC machinists to meet daily production goals.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment.
• Monitor machine performance, tooling, and production quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Train, coach, and assist team members with production and quality standards.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize jobs to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, and minor equipment adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

2nd CNC Shift Lead Qualifications:

• Recent CNC machining experience required.
• Previous team lead, lead operator experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Stable work history with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to train on 1st Shift before moving to the permanent 2nd Shift.
