IMMEDIATE NEED FOR A Mechanical Assembler (1st Shift) ***WEEKLY PAY*** Located in Exton, PA!

Mechanical Assembler:

• Perform mechanical assembly and subassembly of pumps and related industrial equipment according to specifications and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on pumps and assemblies, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute pump assembly procedures accurately.
• Plan and organize pump assembly steps, ensuring all components and materials are available and correctly prepared.
• Install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, bearings, and other mechanical components, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and function.
• Fabricate metal components, including structures, baseplates, and coupling guards, by sawing, cutting, welding, and grinding metal parts.
• Drill, tap, or ream holes to specified dimensions using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Align components precisely and secure them using bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners to create robust assemblies.
• Use hand and power tools, including ratchets, hammers, drills, and other equipment, safely and effectively during assembly and fabrication.
• Measure and inspect parts and assemblies using rulers, calipers, and other measuring and testing instruments to verify accuracy and quality.
• Perform MIG welding and fabrication work as needed to support assembly and repair activities.
• Test or assist in testing the operation of completed products to ensure they meet performance and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a very clean shop environment, following established safety and housekeeping practices.
• Collaborate with a small team of assemblers and other departments to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Support overtime work as needed to meet production demands and project deadlines.

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Pay: $24/hour (based on experience and interview)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of EXTON, PA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
