Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent engine manufacturer in the Byron Center area, is seeking machine operators to join their team!
Overview:- 1st shift: 4am - 2pm. Pay: $16.50, $2 attendance bonus
- 2nd shift: 2pm-12am Pay: $18, $2 attendance bonus
- 3rd shift: 10pm-6am. Pay: $18, $2 attendance bonus.
**Mandatory overtime for all shifts
Responsibilities:
- Ensures adequate supply of component stock is at station to run machines
- Lifting, positions, and removes work pieces from machines to assist in assembly, forming, fitting, and welding
- Loads, stacks, and transports stock and work in process
- Actively monitors the condition of product being produced
- Accurately measures and checks parts for compliance
- Picks up, cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment after use
- Fills out production reports and labels product as needed
Qualifications:
- Able to read, write, and compute simple arithmetic.
- Able to stand for the entire shift.
- Able to use both hands and lift 50 pounds.
- Able to perform tasks requiring repetitive bending, twisting, turning, lifting, pushing, and reaching.
