Contract Duration: 8 weeks, with potential for additional 8-week extensions

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Pay Rate: $55–$65/hour based on experience

Project Overview:

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a healthcare project in partnership with a major New York healthcare organization. The project will focus on combining patient scheduling systems and supporting implementation activities across the organization.

The Project Manager will provide project-level support for key workstreams within complex healthcare programs and will work closely with internal departments, leadership, external vendors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all phases of assigned project workstreams, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, implementation, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain project templates, tracking tools, and documentation to monitor project progress and deliverables.
• Facilitate the collection and organization of project information, metrics, and measurable outcomes.
• Prepare and distribute project status updates and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies, proactively escalating issues when necessary.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal departments, City agencies, contracted vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with planning and conducting training sessions, including developing training materials and supporting documentation.
• Provide on-site support related to project implementation and operational oversight.
• Provide policy and operational support and help develop strategies to improve service delivery within the assigned workstream.
• Assist with reviewing and approving invoices and provide recommendations related to budget planning and project expenditures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
• Support change management and implementation activities related to the integration of patient scheduling systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong project coordination, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical and operational information to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership, administrative teams, technical teams, and frontline staff.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, transparency, and accountability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, deadlines, risks, and deliverables.
• Flexible, proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic work ethic.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing multiple external contractors or vendors.
• Healthcare or hospital project management experience.
• Experience working with NYC healthcare organizations or City agencies.
• Experience with healthcare technology implementations or system integrations.
• Experience with patient scheduling systems or healthcare operations.
• NYC-area residency preferred.

Project Focus:

The Project Manager will support a healthcare transformation initiative focused on combining patient scheduling systems . The role requires strong project management, stakeholder coordination, implementation support, vendor management, documentation, training, and change management skills.
