Overview
Radiology Tech (Diagnostic Radiologic Tech) – Hanford, California – Travel assignment starting 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,559–$2,577 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 4x10-hour swing schedule. Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust technique, exposure parameters, and equipment settings to obtain quality images.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
- Monitor patients during exams and verify exam information; document and report findings as appropriate.
- Produce, review, and verify diagnostic images in PACS; communicate with radiologists and physicians as needed.
- Support procedural and surgical imaging needs, including C-arm imaging; assist with screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Radiography registered radiologic technologist; RT license in state of practice (CA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology (preferred).
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field.
- Other: Current nursing license per the state of assignment.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced imaging department; ability to operate fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment; excellent patient communication and teamwork.
