Lead Technician:

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining heavy equipment machinery and equipment. Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling and installing machinery.

• Lead heavy equipment position for a well-qualified technician with at least 10 years of construction equipment repair experience
• This person should be able to problem solve quickly in many different situations on their own. Assist junior technicians in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• The ability to use the technology along with their mechanical experience to work through situations.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Analyzes and resolves work problem, ,or assists workers in solving work problems.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the repair of construction machines, component assemblies, and parts in the shop and field, including diagnosing, parts ordering, technical report writing, warranty reporting, maintaining care of company assets, and proper communication with others
• Repairs equipment and components, including
• Development of a repair plan and sequence
