Job Overview We’re looking for a Loan Processing Assistant to support the preparation, documentation, and verification of loan applications. This role ensures all applicant files are accurate, complete, and ready for underwriting review. Responsibilities Collect, review, and organize applicant documents (IDs, bank statements, forms, etc.). Verify loan application details for accuracy and completeness. Maintain processing logs and update application statuses. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants for missing information. Prepare files for underwriting and compliance checks. Assist with follow-ups, document requests, and internal reports. Requirements Strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to handle confidential information with care. Basic understanding of loan processes and financial documentation. Proficient with Excel and CRM or loan processing systems. Excellent communication skills. Credit Score Requirement Because the role interacts with sensitive borrower data, a credit check and background verification is required before interview scheduling.
