Prestige Extreme Machining & Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the company's manufacturing facility, building systems, and facility equipment.

The Building Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, general repairs, troubleshooting, and facility upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can work independently, prioritize multiple maintenance needs, and respond quickly to facility issures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Maintain doors, locks, windows, lighting, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and other building components.
• Perform basic electrical repairs, including replacing lights, switches, outlets, and fixtures.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and water lines.
• Assist with HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and inspect facility utilities and building systems.
• Repair and maintain overhead doors, dock equipment, and other facility-related equipment.
• Perform basic welding, fabrication, or mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work area.
• Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
• Assist with facility inspections and ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable building codes.
• Support manufacturing operations by minimizing facility-related downtime and disruptions.
• Perform other maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Manufacturing or industrial facility experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC < and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read basic maintenance instructions, manuals, and diagrams.
• Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and operational impact.
